Who has a wiring schematic for under the dash of a 2002 CTD 2500?

I need the color of the wire that powers the AMP on my Infinity Radio System - CD, Tape Player.

Truck has been back to dealer 4 times to fix the short that is blowing the fuse to the radio AMP. They replaced radio 2nd trip. 3rd trip they replaced the "filter" that is a resistor of some type. 4th trip they said bring it back Wednesday. This has all occurred over a 2 month period. Truck now has 36,600 miles on it. Problem happened at 33,300 miles. The dealer isn't giving me any grief over the warranty, but I'm probably going to have to fix this myself just to have satisfaction that is done right!

I wonder if anyone has ever Lemmon Lawed a truck because of the radio. :-laf :-laf

Sorry I don't have a manual to help you. Good luck with it.

I just had the whole dash wiring harness replaced under warranty in my rig last month. The harness according to the dealer up here has gone through three major improvements since I bought my truck new. ;) Is the dealer aware that DC has had issues with the dash harness:confused: Good luck

I don't have any wiring schematics for you but, you may have to get under ther dash and just run the wiring by hand chances are the bundle is laying across a metal support and has rubbed through causing a short. I've had this happen on a couple of different trucks. Something to look at anyway.

Thanks for the replies. Delaer spent most of the day today and "finally" found the problem to be the right door speaker. They were able to cause the fuse to blow by bumping the speaker to simulate me hitting a bump in the road and blowing the fuse.

They did this several times and then replaced the speaker. They could not duplicate the problem after replacing the speaker.
