wiring Tekonsha Voyager

Help! I am trying to find out where and how to wire up my controller. Any factory connections waiting for me under the dash?

On my 2000 with Factory Trailer Tow,there was a pigtail in the

glove box that plugged into a connector under the dash(left side up near the steering column,as I remember). I had the "Sentinal" until I switched to the Jordan. Be sure and check the directions with the Voyager. On the Dodge's the wires are not exactly the same colors. . ie,red to blue or something like that... I am selling my Sentinal but may be able to get the directions for it re,the wire colors.

and beware like he says ... ... ... ... . If I remember right you have 4 wires from the truck and 4 wires from the controller and they are the same color but they do not wire up that way... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Wire them per user not per color... ... ... . Kevin

Camping World and I believe I have seen them in Auto Zone or Pep Boys... Seems like Camping world was around 8 bucks.

To expound on Fuzz's statement, you can buy a Tekonsha pigtail that is correctly prewired for the Dodge and just plugs in under the dash perfectly.

Thanks for all of the help! I am a new owner and member and this was my first attempt. Upon your recommendations of the parts existance, I went to the dealer yesterday. After visiting the parts department (the guy couldn't find a listing of the pigtail) I went to the service/accessory installer and he provided me a kit from his own Dakota (same thing). FYI the kit included the pigtail and the 7 pin to 4 pin adapter, and instructions.

Called the "Trailer Tow Kit" part number 56020143AD.
