I purchased a set of 2001 heated & powered mirrors for my 97 from a fellow rammer (Thanks Silver Ratler). They work & look great, but the pre 98 electrical hookup is not the same as 98 & up. Makes mirror adjustment a *****, but I'm not complaining.

Anyone know which company supplies the connectors for the 98+ mirror wiring harness? I tried at my local Dodge dealer and they don't have any breakdown information in the parts catalog. They did offer to sell the entire door wiring harness for $45. 00

TIA

I did read that informative thread on mounting the 98+ mirrors on a 94-97 truck before posting here.

I want to change over the connector on the pickup side to a 98+ connector. I need the mate-with from my old pickup mirrors for another project. It would lessen the amount of cut, strip & crimp operations. If I cannot locate loose stock of the connector that changing out the new mirrors and the pickup is my next best option. then I'll have the mates to the old mirrors.

thanks

You best bet is a salvage yard. That's where I found mine. Unfortunately I have yet to find the time to get the mirrors on yet.

Thanks for the kick of the memory. I called one of our suppliers, Lucerix, today. The sales rep. answered all my questions and faxed me a tech sheet from the X Mount mirrors, too.

The X Mount mirrors is their first venture into the consumer market. Previous they were (and are) an excellant supplier to the OEM market.

Turns out the mirror connector is from a Japanese owned company. I still haven't located a local supplier.

Thanks for the all help.

John
