2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Wiring the trailer tow mirrors

From what I gathered the wires are different colors, which color goes to what? I read the instructions and it was noted that the wiring was not documented. My truck already has power and heated mirrors, thanx in advance.

When I did my mirror conversion I put quick disconnect connectors on all the wires. The black leads are for the heat and you just hook them up, black to black... no confusion. For the rest of the wire it's just hit and miss. I just kept trying different combinatiuons until the mirror worked correctly. You'll be able to tell when you find the right combination. The mirror will go up, down, left, right and you'll get this great feeling of success. The other cool thing is that the mirror knows when it's rotated up and still goes up, down, left, right! Way cool...
