I have a problem with blowing fuses on the truck for the emergency flasher
circuit--- ONLY WHEN TRAILER CONNECTED--after about 2 minutes. Smaller trailers do not cause the problem. Do not want to overload the circuit. Would like to use relay for the trailer flasher load (larger load than the truck), do not want to fry any wires. Already have seperate wiring from underhood to rear
trailer connector for left and right signals.
Is there a way to supply power to the trailer flashers with one relay or will I have to use 2 ? How and where to tie in to not overload dash wiring, etc.
I have the Haynes schematic but too generic for me to tell proper wire hookups.
Thanks in advance. RC
