They are hold their annual Dyno Day and Open House. This event is open to Diesel and Gas Pickup Trucks. We plan on running 40 trucks on the dyno. WyoTech www.wyotech.com is sponsoring the dyno time. This is a "run what you bring event!" Meaning no adjustments to boxes/chips. Set it to where you want to run it and hope for the best. Prizes for top HP and possibly Torque if the software comes in for the dyno.

BD Power is scheduled to be here, whether they bring one of their trucks is still up in the air.

Gale Banks of Banks products has been contacted to attend - no confirmation as of yet.

Mike Ryan, who races Century Class Freightliners has also been contacted to attend. He races in the Pikes Peak Hillclimb with 12 - 13 minute runs. He also runs across the Bonniville Salt Flats with speeds of 250mph+. He has not confirmed as of yet.

Lunch is to be provided!

Campgrounds are in the area. If enough interest, it may be possible to block some sites off.

More details as they become concrete!

Sounds good

K & S has a good bunch of guys up there. Could you please explain more about " Wyotech is sponsoring the dyno time" ? It should be another good time, just like previous years.

Is there a list we need to sign up on or something? If so, put me down. One run a piece, and we drive our own rig again, right?

So ya get 1 run for the "money" and that is it? Do people that are not in the top hp gonna have a chance to dyno? Can they buy three runs like last year? I am sure people want to see what they have even if they are not "top" dog.

Thanks

Craig

One crack at it, first come, first serve, large hp or small, your dyno run is sponsored by WyoTech (we're paying). What we are preventing is someone tying up the dyno for an hour because they didn't believe the results.

Some folks left last year because the dyno was being tied up by a few folks. K&S wants everyone who wants to dyno to get a chance.

Wyo Tech is paying K&S for X hours of dyno time. We get to roll in and make one run... no money out of our pockets... free. Then we get to eat... again, free. Also, we get to check out the stuff Banks and BD have to offer... yep, free. The look on Craigs face when his headgasket totally fricken disinergrates... priceless. :-laf

Just kidding ya bud.

Matt, that gives you 2 months to buy and bomb a truck. Then you'd still have a couple of weeks to fix it before TiM'04. The clocks ticking. There also may, or may not be a pool going on regarding your purchase date. :D :D

Hey I'm in, and I think I got one other guy that will come too.

I know I am not making any great power numbers but I still want to run and see what it is at, if I am not the lowest I will feel good :(

Put me in. Put my neighbor in too. He's a TDR member, but he doesn't post online.

I think he's just slightly above the 150 hp he shot last time (he IS a neighbor of mine :-laf)

Say, is this a drug-free event?

I predict that a Dmax with a healthy drug habbit will rule the dyno this year. Anybody got any thoughts on that?

I am still trying to break 500hp not sure I can do that.
