Is there a chance that we can give out prizes to the lowest HP? How about some goody bags for those that show up? Maybe we can talk about this at Hooters on Saturday.

I may have to try and run down from MN for this one! It sounds like a great event! Oo. I'll probably have to stay home from the bar the night before to get up at the time I'll need to leave though.....

Craig,

If your talking about Kennedy's Dmax, he's looking for 500 on #2!

I've heard rumors of a few PSDs over 500 w/o drugs that are suppose to show. But there's not much interest over on that site yet.

Just rumors. :p

The best part is they are so PROUD of that 500hp. It's gonna be tough not to laugh when a CTD puts down 600 on #2 without drugs! Aron, you commin down with your Twin Turbo Monster?

Josh

I have heard Kennedy will break 500 on diesel fuel only and that would not really surprise me at all. I expect some crazy s o b to show with all the drugs known to man at this point and put down 600+ out of a Dmax.

Don't think it will be a Dmax/Ally combo, transmission will go into limp mode to save itself before it gets that far. But then a 6-speed could handle it. I haven't heard to many runnin drugs on the 'maxs. The PSDs, yes.

On another note, how many horses can your "picnic table"put to the ground? K&S Dyno'd a "picnic table last week powered by a gasser V-8. Somewhere around 150 to the ground. It'll be here on the 22nd. :--)

Runaway

Hate to tell you that a 6spd won't handle as much as the Ally. Why do you think GM didn't up the power on the 6spd LLY but did on the Ally. As far as drugs Nitrous is the drug of choice. Should do some reading over at the DieselPlace. Might want to post over there in the events too. Some of the crazier Dmax owners might show up.

Maybe if certain provisions arent met, the transmission may have a "safe or limp" mode. But, I'd be willing to bet the owners of those high strung Chevys have already taken care of that end of it. Its really no different than the Dodges or the Fords getting to much fuel or too much boost, without the proper mods done, they too will cut back fuel or go into a safe mode. Ya know what I mean?

I am hoping to see close to 400 hp with my set-up. Anybody else care to guess what they might get?

How about you Al, are you gonna flog the rollers?

Thanks Jake, didn't know about that site, will get the word out there also. Only knew about the 62_65Diesel page!

This is unrelated to the current event, but...

Is there any interest in getting a TDR thing together in Superior, WI? I'd be interested in helping get something set up for this summer. If you Wisconsin guys are interested, let me know. All of my TDR club involvement has been with Minnesota, but I actually have recently moved to Wisconsin and want to get involved with the WI club as well. I'd like to hear some thoughts on a Superior, WI event. If there was enough of a dedicated turnout, we could look into using the fairgrounds for the site and even have the local Amsoil corporate gurus come out and make an appearance. Just some ideas. Thanks!

Add my namwe to the list for the dyno. Hopefully I should have all the updates/repairs done by then.

If you're feeling spicy, I might be able to fit in another o-ringing between now and then. :)

No thanks, I'll wait until the head HAS to come off. Us mildly modified guys (Basement Saver Dave does have a carpet kit in his box) don't like to do unnecessary mechanical work. Right Dave?

I will do that.

Since you are a Minny, do you know anything about the off-road park up in the iron range. I am planning on trying to go up their this year with a couple of others and do some wheelin.
