Now what did you do?

I'm glad I'm following Basement Saver Dave's example of modification... :p :D

Does anyone want a pair of almost new trailer wheels? I have them in the classifieds (for non-TDR members) and the pay it forward forum. I figured that if anyone going to K & S wants them I better post it here too.

Size: 10" diameter x 6" wide, 5 bolt pattern. These had 20. 5 x 8. 0 x 10 tires on them and still look new.

Rain or shine we are set to see some "smoke!" K&S put up a big pavilion tent just in case.

"IF THE SMOKES NOT BLACK, TAKE IT BACK!"

Breakfast is planned for 6:45ish at Denny's where business HWY 51 comes in off I-39 per Kennedy's message if anyone interested!

BIG thanks to K&S and the staff for the awesome food and the use of the facility. BIG thanks to Wyotech for sponsoring the dyno time. Wyotech sponsored the first 50, but I think 55 ran total.

I had a great time, and got the numbers I expected. Next time I would like more than one run like a lot of other trucks got. The DuraMaxs ruled the rollers, again. It is stupid how easy it is to make big power with these trucks.

I think this is the 50 that Wyotech sponsored (in order of registration)

Correct me if I am wrong...

Top honors to Mark Huckstorf with 462. 8 (#2 only) and to John Kennedy with 532. 2 (nitrous).

Actually WyoTech paid the first 40 and K&S absorbed the cost of the last 13.

Great turn out despite the threat of rain!

Finally had some Fords break 300 and one actually was over 400.

Thanks K&S and WyoTech! I was surprised by the turnout, that were lots of folks there! Did anyone get a headcount?

I know what I need to do before mine runs again, my next goal is over 400. I made my goal this time... plus a hamburger!

I WAS all set to come up, but since Thursday night, we've had over 11" of rain. Saturday night was the worst yet. I was keeping a watchful eye on the sump pumps and had a generator on standby. I've lived here all my life, and haven't seen this much water here. I guess I'll just have to wait for Muncie:(

Yeah, the Dmax did very well. I'm really bummed that my truck was broken and I couldn't bring it. Of course, there were a few Dmax guys that were disappointed too. Oh well. Maybe on the next one.

My neighbor was quite happy with how he did. Especially since his last trip on those rollers got him 132 HP. He was also pleased that he beat every Ford there, save one. I'd really like to know what that guy was running.

When I got back, I dove into my neighbor's truck and fixed his fuel supply issue. He won't have twins by the Mopar show in West Salem, but I'd bet he'll be past the 400 HP mark for the show. He WILL have twins by the end of the summer. Then WATCH OUT!:D

Thanks to Wyotech and K&S for hosting this event. It's a good excuse for all us diesel heads to get together and talk shop. I had a good time and hope to do it again. Only with MY truck. (OH YEAH!)

Say, when does the video go for distribution?

Slowed down to where I can look at the forums. Great turnout even with the threat of rain. GM did dominate this year. Dodge put some good numbers up. As did Ford this year, quite a few in the 300+ class and one almost to 400. Kennedy as you heard was 532 with a nitro assist. Had a few gas jobs run, nothing special. Did have a "Hemi" run and put down 189 rwhp. Thought that was low for what it is hyped to be!

HS students/WyoTech enrollees were impressed by what a diesels can do.

As ususal K&S did a fantastic job and I am happy to have WyoTech be involved with this years event.

Me too! I didn't realize that until you mentioned it.

What was the problem?

Not enough fuel pressure from the LP. Just a small mod to the return regulator and all is well. You should hear this thing at 3900 RPM. It screams!:D
