RECENTLY INSTALLED ENGINE BACK IN TRUCK AFTER A VALVE SEAT FAILURE TAKING OUT #4, FIRST THING FIRST, ENGINE RAN LIKE CRAP RIGHT OFF, A LITTLE TROUBLE SHOOTING TELLS ME FCA IS NOT WORKING, NO PROBLEM, INDUSTRIAL INJECTION SENDS ONE OUT ASAP, REPLACE FCA AND FIRST NOTICE IS THIS THING IS QUIETER AND SMOOTHER THAN WHEN IT WAS NEW, I REMOVED GRID HEATER IN FAVOR OF THE POWER BY POOLE POWER BLOK, SO FAR STARTS AND RUNS FINE, COLDEST MORNING THIS WEEK WAS
-6 F, SMOKED LIGHTLY BUT CLEANED UP FAST, WELL HOW ABOUT A 150 MILE BREAK IN AND I KNOW BETTER BUT COULDNT HELP IT I CRANKED THE FUEL AND HAMMERED DOWN THE ON RAMP STARTED IN 3RD, SKIPPED FIFTH WHICH IS A WAIST OF TIME, ENDED UP AT 3200 RPM IN 6TH GEAR BEFORE ENTERING THE INTERSTATE, BOOST IS BLOWING OFF AT 60 PSI, VERY LITTLE HAZE FROM EXHAUST, TOUCHING 1300 DEG AND DROPPING TO AROUND 1200, also has arp studs, head is for a 2005 or 2006 model, the 610 engine... what do you think for h. p. estimate...
