Happy B-day Dl5treez !

Just bought a (baby) Harley

Because I bought a Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 R/C Helo!

Sweet setup! Bought it on consignment from a Springs hobby shop.

Thunder Tiger Raptor including upgrades like metal swashplate, carbon fiber boom, boom struts, tuned pipe, custom paint job, wooden blades.

Came with a Plano box full of tools and parts, extra vert and horizontal stabs, original boom and boom struts, extra skid.

Flight box with starter, starter extension, volt meter, charger, glo plug starter, power panel, leads, tools, gallon of 30% fuel, fuel pump.

JR FM 6 channel PCM radio. Everything was put together.

Sweet :)

Sounds great. If you're not an accomplished heli flyer, better get one of these.

It will save you a fortune in repair parts. And aggravation. I have it from some good heli flyers that it is worth the money, and if you can fly that, you can fly the real one. Model, that is.

Good luck with it.

Well my sister's boyfriend has a Hirobo Shuttle and learned on his flight sim, he said I could use it also.

What I want to do is learn to fly better than him, see if his ego cools down a bit :)

Actually he does! He is a momma's boy and she bought an 03 4-door 2500 to tow his Formula V around the country to race. Not as well kept as mine though!

I will take pics of the helo tonight!

Dang, there went that idea. Have to think of something else. Hmmm... . Ask him how many times he turned his tail boom into a question mark. (the usual sign of a hard landing, when the rotor impacts the boom wrapping it up) I had a friend who flew the r/c choppers, that told me about that characteristic. I got a plane, that I have yet to fly. Got the whole setup, radios and all, had the controls for the elevator rigged backwards. I got it set up right, and tried to take off in short grass, but never got the speed. Need to get it in a field one day, where there is bare dirt or pavement.
