Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Wont start and 1693 code

Sometimes the truck starts fine and then it started this no starting and I get a 1693 code. Thing is the last time it would not start with the key, it would just crank. But it started right away when we pull started it. I was told that if the vp44 was bad it would not start when pulled. It is a stock truck with only an Edge Ez box and 90K on it. It is a 2001 2500 4x4 5sp. Were to began is were I am stuck. Thanks Derek

You need to pull the codes out of the ECM it will get you started in the right direction
