Archived wont turn

i have a 200 auto when the truck is setting idling i can not turn the steering wheel to the right . when you are driving it you can feel it grab when you try to turn either direction some times it will turn easy other times you really have to pull hardnot real fun to turn a 24 foot trailer in the driveway a couple weeks ago you could not turn left

Sounds like your power steering pump is going bad. it's not pumping enough pressure to assist in turning at idle.

Could be the pump. Stupid question- How's the fluid level and has the fluid ever been changed?

fluid level is good and it has never been changed truck has 67,000 miles

I seem to remember a post a while back I think it had to do with a screen/filter in the power steering pump. Could be partially clogged. Worth a try anyway. Do a search for Power steering or steering and sift through the results.
