Archived Working on the powerjoke help please

Ok I know that someone here has to have some experience with a 7. 3 powerchoker I mean powerstroke. I used to be a tech for ford but I have never seen any thing like this. I got a 7. 3 with a no start. I have put it on the scan tool and I have 2200psi on the icp while cranking none while sitting. then I took it out of the icp sensor out of the head and cranked no oil came out and I still had 2200psi on the scan tool the ipr goes from 15% sitting and 30% cranking. I have pulled it and cleaned the ipr. If I fill the high press oil pump resvoir it will start but only for a few sec then dies. Please Help I am not a ford fan and I can not get rid of my inlaws until I fix this. I have tried 3 other forms and none will let me post and their is like 2 people looking this is the best site to get info and I hope at least some on the powerstroke. ( I have thought that a match would be the best) Thanks to all

So you had to manually fill the HPOP reservoir manually? And once you did that, it started and ran briefly, then died. Is the reservoir empty again? Unless all the oil, including the oil in the heads were drained, I can see no reason why the reservoir would be empty. Does the truck have any engine oil pressure from the low pressure pump while cranking?

Thats what it was lp pump I just put it in about 9 pm last night and got it running. But now they want to finish out the weekend. and it has 7 wrong injectors that I have to put in now
