I would love to see an engine like this in person! This has been posted quite a few times here in the last several months but thanks for thinking of us though ;)

Size matters, don't ever let anyone tell you it doesn't!

Hey KO:

I used to work down there in Hinckley myself back in 94 for about 6 months, I was on the paint crew, we worked a lot out on the scrubbers, but I also did my fair share of work down there in the sumps cleaning up the oil

all I remember was that it was

LOUD

and it was also a long way to commute from Sacramento every week, driving from Sacramento in a Honda CRX that got 42 MPG and STILL COULD NOT MAKE IT TO WORK ON A TANK OF GAS!!!!!!!

do they still have any GC painters down that way? I no longer work for THE BIG UTILITY COMPANY... ... .

the paint foreman that I worked for( having a brain fart) lived in the hills west of Bakersfield and drove a gray Chevy half ton with I think a 6. 2 diesel, I want to say his first name was Jerry.

another guy was Jess Hernandez, out of Bakersfield, and then another guy who's first name was Ken, drove a Canary Yellow 88 or so Chevy pickup with some ugly looking graphics... .

Is Dan Zierau still there? Tell him this is from Ken Eckler, see if he remembers me
