After carrying hemmoroids for 31 years, I thought it was time for me to have them removed. On April 25th, I had surgery to remove them. 3 days later, I came home from the hospital with not only a massive pain in my behind but also a screaming urinary infection in which my fever did not break for two weeks. To add insult to injury, the sutures the doctor used were the disolveable kind. The internal ones desolved twice as fast as they should have resulting in massive hemmoraging a week ago sunday. Back in the hospital for another 2 days. My point to you is this. If you are considering having this surgery for the fun of it,... ... don't. I cannot remember a more miserable time of my life. I am now finally on the mend. I think it is down hill from here. But getting over the top is HELL!

Barry,
Glad to hear that you are now o. k. and on the road to recovery. Get one of those rubber donuts for the seat of your truck. #ad

Glad to here you're on the mend. I have been living with that affliction since I was 16 or 17 yrs. old. They started from riding those old metal tractor seats, hauling hay, etc. I worked in a steel mill for almost 32 years and saw a lot of friends go through that surgery. All of them said, "Never again!" I decided a long time ago to just live with them and am continuing to do so. Your "testimonial" has reinforced that decision once again. Hope everything continues to get better for you!

Barry, been there and done that, I know what your going thru!!! Its hell before, during, and after, but it sure feels good when it quits hurting!!! Everything in your body is connected to that pucker string!!

I,ve had them for the last thirty years and have decided to live with them. To many years as a trucker.

How come they call them hemorrhoids? Shouldn't they be called assterhoids? I have been lucky with mine. I have got my fingers crossed as mine have been getting better lately.

Big Chuck at work had those, went through the surgery and now he takes dried and ground pumpkin, I am not sure what part of the pumpkin it is but he buys it in bulk and insists it keeps the tooter in working order.
Might wanna check that out. Keep the TDR in the head and take your time!

I have heard that the new lazer surgery for roids is easy and painless? I have an old friend that had it done a few years back and he told me that if he had known it were this easy he would have had it done years ago. does anyone have knowledge on this lazer roid surgery?

I asked my doctor about the laser thing. Mine were beyond that stage. I am happy to say that I now can sit and do normal things again. Going to try to do an Az. turn around first of next week. Take a big deep breath and Gooooooooooooo!
