If you get it by email, it's probably not true

Our Pontiac 6000 broken on side of road

A while back, I sent a letter to someone basically asking for a job. Then one day when I was gone, he called my house wanting to speak to me. My dad took his number. Somehow, his phone number was misplaced. After having no luck finding it, I decided to write him another letter explaining and apologizing for not getting back to him. After hearing nothing from him for a couple weeks, I sent another letter. The address I am sending these to is his PO box. My question is if I would be going too far by calling the post office and seeing possibly if he has been collecting the mail out of this box. I'm not trying to invade on his privacy, but trying to figure out if he's avoiding me or just hasn't made it to get the mail. What do you guys think?

BTW, even though all but maybe a few people in here would even know who I'm talking about, the person is Tio Kleberg.

Instead of the letter method, go see them in person and ask for a job. Bring your tools of your trade just in case he asks if you can start now.

I don't think you would be bugging him though if you sent another letter. You are just showing that you are serious about employment.

Good luck!
