Anything by installing my turbo from my '02 manual to my '95 auto. I'm putting a sps 62 on my '02 and was wondering if there is any gain in spool up, cooling etc. by putting the '02 turbo on the '95. Can it be done or is there some modifications that will need to be made.

Thanks

You would be better off with the HX35 off your 95 then your HY35 off your 02. I dont know exactly what the difference is, maybe someone will chime in and let you know that.

Here is what I found. When I blew my turbo I got a '99 turbo with bad wheels etc. I also liked the way the later models had the solenoid connected allowing me to discard the hard line on the earlier model. When I tried using the '99 turbine housing, it was smaller around the wheel area. I pulled out the grinders and whent to work. Now I have '99 housings with '96 wheels. The exhaust side fit perfect. I find that she spools quick and I've had no problems in about 2300 miles.

Cheers Derek
