I already bought my Mach 5's last month since they were on sale :) But I wont be getting my B1 until next month. Its really hard looking at these Mach 5's everyday imagineing all of my future power. Would it be safe if I put them in until I got my full B1. I would keep a watchful eye on my EGT gauge of course and I wont be towing either. Maybe a few WOT spurts but thats it.

I know what I should do but its getting harder everyday.

Thanks

I would most likely bite the bullet and wait. Thats a real healthy injector, and I would'nt have the patience to drive like there's an egg underneathe the accelerator. Just my $0. 02

I'd say go for it and slap 'em in there... IF you've got the self control to back off when the EGT's go through the roof. EGT's are what's bad for an engine, not the size injector you are running. You'll be blowin' one heck of a smoke cloud, though. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

One last thing... NICE PICS (or should I say "pic"?)

Dave

I say go for it. I put my 4. 5 in and pulled with my stock turbo and 1300 is the hottest that I got during the whole pull. Then drove 2000+ miles street with the same set up with no trouble with the EGTs. You will like the smoke and a lot of it.

Alright im doing it tomorrow... . as per the "injector install" instructions floating around here. Anything else I should know????

What Turbo?

When you get the new Turbo, see how long it takes you to smoke the stocker :(

Just abuse it and make it bark and KILL IT and make it :{

Just wait for the turbo! Power will be up there i dynoed this week with Mach 4 and a B1 made 522hp 1107tq. Installing Mach 5 saturday and going back.

Nahh I dont have pans for turbo explosion, I will be nice. opoole you have to lets us know what you dyno'ed. What type of box are you running. Don told be I will be around 560hp with the Mach 5's and a B1 :--) :D :D :D

Ooooh I cant wait :-laf :-laf :-laf

P. S You might want to update your site Mach 5's are now a 200HP injector :D :D

I wouldn't wait for the turbo... just keep the boost around 35psi and watch the EGT's... they'll get hot QUICK if you really lay into it, but that'll just inspire you to get the B1 on there ASAP ;) :D

522hp with a EDGE drag, Mach 4s, B1 turbo, AFE cold air, ATS manifold and 4" exhaust

609hp with baby . 073 NOS jet 12??tq I would say that Don is right!

I did it, and im impressed with the power I guess. It feels like I have my comp on 5X5 when its only on 1X5 with the Mach 5's. I sure hope this thing comes alive once I put that B1 on there. It only feels like I have about 400-430 HP with my stock turbo on there. I know they work off each other, im just hopeing to see another FAT gain with the B1 besides cooling off this beast. Im hoping for 555HP

HAHA I can hit 1400' in first gear!!!! and what a smoke show, because thats what it is since you cant see my truck when your behind it.

Thanks for telling be to go for it :)
