Would it be worth buying?

A 1993 with 408,000+ miles on it for 2000 dollars? The body is in great shape and there are no other flaws? It's 2WD and has a auto transmission. Thanks for the info.

How bad do you want it and how much money do you want to sink into it after initial purchase?



FWIW, I just gave $1500 for a 90 1 ton dually 5 speed 2wd body great shape no bed, ReCon or reman motor, unknown miles.



Either way be ready to sink a bunch of money on it for getting things back to snub. IE, springs, alignment, front end parts, possible rear end rebuilt, transmission definate rebuild, VE possible rebuild, turbo maybe, other associated parts, lift pump, intercooler... etc. . then again maybe won't need to put any of the above back on it. .

"1993 Dodge Ram Cummins turbo diesel pickup. The truck has 406k miles on it but you would never know it by the way it runs. The truck does'nt even have a door ding! No dents in this truck, except for 2 small ones in the bed. The paint is peeling in various places. All four hubcaps are missing as well. The truck has washout interior & cloth seat. The truck does not have a ball in the bed, therefore I don't believe the truck has been used for heavy loads. transmission shifts out smooth. Great truck for a great price. "

Is that the truck for sale? I bet it was wrecked, I see the reproduction grill, bumber, emblems in the incorrect spot, and $200 paint job. If ebay I'd say negative. They sell turds on there all the time. Let me guess, its from a seller in Hearne,Texas? That seller always has a bunch of beat down, used up Dodge Cummins trucks.
