out..... man we've lost some things in these new fancy rigs - I still love vent windows... ... . and look at that floor - no key start - notice the foot engaged starter... ... AND dimmer - Bring back the floor Dimmer!!!!!
That's one of the nicest original cars I've seen in a long time.
When I worked in a body shop 20 years ago, the owner bought a dozen cars out of a private collection in PA, all from the 30's and 40's. There were no Dodges or Chryslers, but there was a beautiful 1949 Packard sedan, and a 1932 Ford. There was nice Ford F3 pickup with just over 20k miles on it, I think it was a 1953 or '54. All of them gorgeous cars.

Funny that you mention that -- I had the old Jeep out today. Vent windows in front, the floor-mounted dimmer switch, and a manual choke.
Come to think of it though, my CTD extended cab has the rear vented windows similar to this 1940 Dodge, so perhaps there is a thread of lineage running through here, connecting it all together.
