My older brother is a horsepower junkie! He used to always have something fast I could "borrow" as a kid. 68 Road Runner, 68 GTX, 69 Charger 500(the real one with flush glass & Super B grill) Kaw 500 triple, Z-1 900 & 1000, Triumph Trident, etc. Well, temptation reared it`s ugly head recently, and he has a new bike. Kawasaki ZXR-12 if I remember correctly. Oh - My! 160+ horsepower on 2 wheels! Mere words do not do it justice,acceleration wise. The drawback is that while it is the most powerful bike I have ever ridden, it is also the most uncomfortable. You should make arrangements with a Chiropractor if you want one. But it do go! Kawasaki claims 190+, and high 9s in the quarter mile. Can`t tell you if that is true, but it will go WAY over 120. Couldn`t read the gauges after that, my eyes were blurring. It will do neat wheelstands. Monster brakes, too. I like the power, but I`m an idiot; I would not behave with this bike. Heck, I didn`t! DK.

You're referring to the ZX-12R. It's actually a very comfortable bike, relatively speaking, compared to their ZX-6R/RR or ZX-10R. Yes, it is a beast. I would like to have one for sport touring.

You must not be fat. Maybe if I didn`t have a gut I could agree. After 10 minutes, I was ready to get off of it & get back on my Electra - Glide. Very fast indeed. Again, I like the power & brakes, not much else. DK.

Big Power 'busa's are a joy to ride VS a 280Hp Orient express without the bottle GSXR-1100 Old school 1992. :-laf The ZX12 is fun as heck and being a huge KAW fan I let my 9r go in favor for a 10R that never happened but is just as well as It was starting to get waaayy too nutz on the street with the advent of the not so fast and the upset :-laf Ya want a rush I still have to say a piped and commanded GSXR1000 is the street gremlin of now.
