Posted last week or so about symtoms of a worn track bar. Got the truck into the dealer today as the original warranty was just about up (35909 on the clock). Told them what I was experiencing -- truck hard to keep in the road, on rough roads it seemed like the front wheels were fighting each other wanting to go there seperate ways. What they found was the "track bar" had worn. But they felt the track bar has been bad for quite some time (I never noticed until recently, blamed it on the lousy WI roads!) because they also had to replace the "inside tie-rod end and drag link. I could tell the improvement before I ever got the truck out of the dealer lot - first time I've ever been able to drive down the rough roads with only one hand on the wheel.
Also had them check the lift pump as I had trouble starting the engine the last filter change 15 psi pre filter, 15 psi post. 6 psi under load.
