Well I Got 2000 Miles On Her And I Got Ants In My Pants So Bad Today Thinking Bout Towing I Had To Do It. i Hooked My 22 Foot Tandem Axle Trailer And Drove My 96 Z71 Ext Cab Chevy On It. i Know The Trailer Weighs Right At 2000 Pounds The Chevey Weighs Like 6500i Think Not Really Sure I Lokked On The Sticker On The Door. anyway Im Thinking Around 8500 9000 Pounds Somewhere Around There. remeber This Is A Bumper Pull So Alot More Tongue Weight. . okay Well First Off I Took It Down Hwy 155 For 40 Miles. lots Of Grades. First Run I Kept It In 6th Gear . i Was Very Impressed It Only Down Shifted On The Steepest Grades And It Just Hummed Right Along. fuel Mileage Averged Bout 10 Mpg Going 65 With 4 Inch Lift And 35s. The Shifting Was Firm And I Could Lock The Torque Converter Every Gear If I Wound It Up First. i Stopped At 5th Gear So I Dont Know Bout 6th. 1st Thru 4th Acceleration Was Better Than My O4 With A Quad Box On 2. at One Point I Was Running 90 Just To See If It Would Do It In 5th Gear. then I Shifted In To 6th. it Just Purred... ... I Cant Really Say Enough About The 68rfe. light Years Ahead Of The 48re In My Opnioun.
