WOW! I'll tell you boys who are waitin for your new truck, these are some kinda unit! I got mine Monday & am more impressed every time I get in it! I mean, I've drove Fords, had a half dozen GMC's, & this is my third Cummins; I loved em all, but this one really takes the cake. I got a black 3500 Cummins HO 4x4 sport LWB SLT, Jacobs brake; she's shiny black, so I'm gonna have to wash her every day; in fact I washed it today for the first time. There's not a blemish in the paint; no, not one. I've never seen fit & finish any better than I see on this truck; I mean Lexus, Mercedes, you name it. I've been an insurance adjuster for nigh onto 40 years; seen lots of rigs; boy, this is a dandy! Only thing I didn't like the looks of is the payment book! I'll tell you 'ol boys; if this thing will run as good as she feels like she will, & as good as she looks, we definitely gots ourselves a keeper! I'll have to admit, it looks like them ol boys down south of the border know how to build one fine truck! WOW

Not only that but the windows work with the key in accessories position and the back windows go all the way down!:D

Let's not discredit the fine Americans who designed, engineered and "made" the motor and truck components that our very good neighbors (compared to Pakistan's neighbors) did such a fine job of putting together!:D

Glad to hear you got one with good paint. Mine is going in Monday to have the dr fender painted seeing as it only got about half the paint it needed at the factory! You can see right thru to the white primer! There are tons of flaws it the rest of the paint also! Mine is also black. 2500 reg cab HO 6spd 4x4. It does pull like a train!! I have also owned a ton of trucks and this one pulls the best by far!!

How'd he do that!!??

JDanford, you mean to say you took delivery and already had the brake installed does your dealer have anymore in stock?? Congrats on the new ride!!:D

Mine was also built in Mexico!! It was at the dealer in 5 weeks after I ordered it. I guess they drink quite a bit of that tequila. HA HA. tHE REST OF THE TRUCK IS great!! They do build the best. I just had a little bad luck but I'm sure the dealer will make it right?? They say the whole fender will be painted and you will never be able to tell.

2003 Black 2500 SLT 4x4 reg cab, HO, 6spd, line-X, ram mud flaps.

My new one is suppose to ship 1/16. Threads like his make it that much harder to wait! Does anyone know the ship time to Ohio from Mexico?

It will probably take 14-18 days. The holdup is at Port of Laredo. If you can get ahold of the boxcar number (from D/C or your dealer) you can track it on the uprr site.

And if I see it headed up the MoPac rail line thru Austin I'll give you holler!:D Congrats!

If you live in the Northern Ohio area, your truck will probably be taken off the rail car in Toledo, Ohio, at the Jeep plant. Mine was. It will then be hauled by truck to your dealer.

Photos

I've been trying to figure out how to post a photo of the "Black Beast, but can't figure it out; so, you'll just have to use your imagination! Tell ya one thing; at night, when I look out the window, I can't see it! Camoflaged, I guess!
