I went to the Cummins shop today and picked up five banjo bolts and ten new crush washers for truck. But they don,t look the same as whats in there now. Of coarse I,ve not had them out yet sooo-? Three of them are part number 3941153 and are bronzed colored and have three holes trianglerly spaced around the body of the bolt. Where do these go? The other 2 are bigger ( longer bolt) and black and have 4 holes part number 3903035 where do these go? I thought all five banjos would be the same for the injector pump(1) fuel filter(2) and lift pump (2). I understand about the drilling ,but the banjos with the 3 holes look awful big already. I,d like to pre -drill these bolts so as to shorten the down time, but I,m afraid to drill them as they might not be the right ones and Cummins won,t take them back. I need some help. please. Mr. Cummins dealer says they are the right ones but I have doubts and would like to know before going on with this project. Thanks Next step is DD Stage injector Yeeaaaah!!!!

terry , they don't sound right to me , the ones i have from a 99 are all the same and had 4 holes , if the ones with 3 holes have bigger holes all the better , as far as the 2 that are black and longer , don't sound correct to me , i would at least exchange those for 2 more like the others . how much did this set you back ?

Here is a picture of banjo bolts out of my 2001. 5.
Four holes which I drilled out to . 188 with an added campher.
Three big holes means they got the message and are letting it flow better.

terry it would have taken you maybe a 1/2 hour to swap the bolts and cost you 25 bucks less .

steve , i drilled my holes to . 199 #8 drill bit , also drilled out the thru hole to 21/64ths .

Yes I,m confused. Only way I can see to do it now is take the bolts out 1 at a time and take the ones I don,t use back to Cummins. I got to think on this some? Think I,ll take one of the # 3703035 with 4 holes, drill it out ,install it in the injector pump and see whats really in there and just work thru the system piecemeal. Would have been nice to have them all ready and tear into it. Sorry I did not take you up on your original offer but I didn,t know when I would fined the time to do the swap and get the old ones back to you in a short turn around time. $55. 00 for everything Thanks for the original offer and the responce now. Seems like nothing in life is easy but I guess then it would not be worth doing.
