Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) WTF: Why does my truck cut out

I have 2001 with a new injector pump and a Blue Chip FMS and a FASS Fuel system piggybacked with a Van Aaken chip. Occasionally, with the FMS and the VA both working it will spit and sputter for the lack of a better description . If I turn off the FMS and leave the VA on it doesn't cause these problems. There is no set pattern it will not do this all the time. The FMS indicates steady fuel pressure. Could anyone offer some suggestions

Sounds like a bad connection on the wire to the vp44.

Check your grounds, and MAP sensor connection

If you are using the Pump Cover, crank down on the set screw. I have heard a couple reports of that causing bucking and/or a loss in power.
