VW Gurus...........Help

ok fellas... are you on this site or what?? i was in a local bar :D on friday nite in laramie, wyo and there were to trucks outside with what appeared to be 4" dual stacks... both 2nd gens one was a quad with a flatbed and the other a reg cab ... u know who you are and i want your names:p

i think it was "The Cowboy"

JGeis is our resident member in Laramie, his is blue, but I don't know about stacks. Also is Lynn Brown, but his is 3rd gen. There are a bunch attending Wyotech, many driving CTD's.

Funny, I think there is a "Cowboy Bar" in every town in Wyo...

Could be oilfield rigs maybe?

I saw a real nice welding rig in Casper on Saturday with stacks coming out of the middle of the bed, just behind the welder. It was different, especially since there was no smoke and sounded like a stocker.

You get into western South Dakota and Wyoming and I think 99% of the Dodges you see have a cummins in them. Many of them have some nice mods, very few I have talked too know anything about the TDR. Too bad, cause there are alot of nice ones around.

So when are we WY guys gonna get off our butts and ge together? I am missing all the action around here... .

There was talk about a winter get together up in Thermop at the hot tubs but it was also left up to Whitmore so theres no telling what happend:rolleyes: (you listening Kevin????)

Kev is on a bit of a hiatus, somethin about a kitchen remodel or somethin. Anyhow, I and I'm sure others from Cheyenne are heading down to the ATS event on Feb. 7th. Maybe we could form a convoy?

Here's the thread:

I know it's title says january 11th or somethin, but the date has changed, read within.

Kev and I did talk about a get together in March possibly up in Thermop. But we couldn't think of a way to have a bombing session, or event type thing staying at the holiday inn. Sure we can drink up all the beer they have in town and create a black haze over the whole place, but what else would you all like to do? Maybe we can start a thread in "central" to build some ideas as to where, when and what.

If you are getting together in Thermop in March I can make it. Depending on the weather/roads of course :) Or how about the weekend when Sierra Trading Post has the spring sale? I hit that every spring in Cody. :D
