M-D TDR Gathering Sunday January 11th At G&M Seafood....

GLTDR Revival

Does any one know of a chapter for the state?

If not, I'm interested in getting one startedOo.

So what do ya think? Let me know.

MMcClain, I finally PMed you this a. m. I don't know if there are enough around the state to get a chapter going, but there are enough I know about to do an informal get together, i. e. Whitmore, WyoJim, X-10, tpcdrafting, you, J. Geis and probably some others I can't remember. I'll assist in contacts if we come up with a brainstorm. J. Geis said RMTDR is having a get together in Aug. Maybe we should schedule something in conjunction.

Gents

I have been thinking for a year on this subject and have been saving a list of Wyo members, I have about 12 or so . I was planning on doing a group mailing when I get a chance , They got me working 12 hour days straight thru till we get this plant running. About another month of this schedule. What I want to do is organize a gathering somewhere so we can all meet and thr to get thoughts on a Wyo chapter, the only time I see a possible gathering is the Frontier days, this would give plenty of activity for all. What do you think, I want to pull my new 5er anywhere but this plant and spend a few days. I wa also wanting to know if any Wyo members had a decent dealer that would sponser some type of a rally for Cummins dudes, I know I can drag a few friends along... ... ... ... ... let me know

Count me in on what ever you guys decide... . But the last of August and all of September I'm packing to Alaska... .

I may be suffering in CA, but my license & plates read WYOMING. Keep me informed has I try to get back there as often as possible.

Thanks

-Matt

Go Pokes!

Gents -

I am in!

Whitmore - if you are coming down for the Daddy of em all in July, Let me know when you are going to be in Cheyenne.

I was thinking it would be great to have a big wrench day at the Tech School here in Laramie. They have a top notch diesel program and thought between us cowboys and the rest of the RMTDR (greenies too! ;) ) we could have a great bomb and etc day. I'll let everyone know more as I find out anything.

Anybody know how bad the Laramie Peak Fire is now?

Take care

Jason

well, i will be going to woytech (diesel) in a year at laramie... . i'd like to get together there if a chapter gets goin! whitmore, add me to that list if you're gonna do it.

Giesj

Sounds great if we could have a meet at Wyo tech! do they by chance have a dyno??? and can it handel our torque? I am excited thinking about it ... ... ... ... ... Kevin

i'm kinda excited too, hehe, but i wont be going to wyotech for a year. i just want to get on the list and try to get to know the locals. so i'll be at wyoteh for 9 months, and then back to Maine. ah well, see some of you in a year!:D

I've got a friend who's brother teaches over at wyo tech that I will see if I can contact this weekend and get any more info from.

Jason, we just finally had a nice shower go through a couple hours ago that really laid the fire down. Did have all kinds of smoke coming from the hills straight west of the house, and can not see any now. So if not all out, at least maybe they can make some good headway now.

Doug

Might as well put me on that list too. I will be moving back to Laramie again this month. Keep me posted on anything at Wyotech.

Thanks

Me too

Like jerryrigg

I too find myself in CA, with WY tags (you gotta love the military loopholes).

Between a move to N CA(Beale AFB) by the end of the month, a short deployment in SEP, Elk hunting in CO/OCT, doubt I could make any special trips(and stay married).

But would appreciate being kept in the information loop.

Thanks

JJ

Thanks for the responses guysOo.

One thing about WyoTech is they have plenty of parking for us all, I went there last year! They do have a dyno but it will not handle our torque, it's for gassers only:{ They do have a portable engine dyno, that they use to dyno the Cats, Detroits and Cummins diesel's they have. Only 1 problem though, atleast when I was there they did not have an adapter for the 12V's & 24V's:mad:

I will talk to Cummins Intermountian in Rock Springs and see if they might be willing to do something and maybe the Dodge dealer as well. I will let ya'll know.

cool

turns out we have a few more CTD owners in the great state of WYO than we thought, heck we may break 20 :D

The wife and I were eating prime rib saturday night down at Svilers in Hudson and a guy came up to me and said you must be Whitmore from theTDR ? he says I'm Fuzz from the TDR glad to meet you, he recognized my truck from my sig and figgered me out of the crowd. Heck of a nice guy and knowledgable too, it was a pleasure. My wife asked him if he had an EZ boz and what injectors he was running:D she gave me instant wood, I Love that girl:D , he said something about a 4 " exhaust and the lil woman says is that from turbo to tail pipe? She set up a very special evening:eek:

any one who has any ideas as to what and where we can have a rally please speak up as the summer is well under way:) ... ... ... ... . Kevin

Kevin and all other Wyo. members--just a thought, but since the RMTDR is having a get together on Aug. 17 at Central Motive Power in Denver, how about trying to do something later that day or early on Sun. the 18th. Maybe kill two birds on one weekend rather than having to take up another. If we did it on Sun. it still would leave time for most to drive home. I know X-10 was thinking of something in Laramie at Wyo. Tech. Otherwise just a brunch, b. s. get together might be in order. By the way, Kevin the bumper fits great. Truck almost looks presentable again since I finally got the windshield replaced as well. Now there is just the small front fender dent from a renegade horse!

I really like Doug's idea of something at Wyo tech, seams like we could start some kind of an annual trip that has the potential to grow and get real interesting and with something that could possibly bennifit us too. My understanding of Wyo tech is that it is the best Diesel school in the U. S. A. that should go hand in hand with the best diesel engine in the industry.

Steve, glad to hear the bumper has a good new home but sorry to hear it knocked out your lift and vp-44;) :{ ;)

You boys from Wyoming are welcome down here anytime. If any of you would like to come down for the meeting with Central Motive Power, just let me know so that I have an accurate head count.

Big A
