ATPA Rcky Mtn National Truck Pull

Hello all you wind blown Wyomites. How about a BBQ at our home here in Laramie on the 31st of July. Pot luck & BYOB and we will furnish the meat. A possible tour of the diesel school at Wyo Tech. I am inquiring about that tour at the present. We have plenty of parking but no facilities for rvs. There is a KOA and the Territorial Prison Park has parking spots available. PM me and I will give you the details and the phone numbers of the KOA & TPP if you are interested. Just for your info, Cheyenne Frontier Days is also going on in Cheyenne that weekend. Let me know what you all think of the idea. Tpcdrafting, Gielsj & I lynnbrown are open for suggestions. We look forward to a good time, good food and good I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER chat about the "HUMMINS CUMMINS".

Some of these guys better not stay at the Territorial Prison Park, they might take up permanent residence there!!:) ;) :D

I'd sure like to make that. I usually like a break about Laramie or Cheyenne anyway.

Thanks for the invite and your hospitality is admirable. Unfortunately, I will be in the Thorofare that week. I already scheduled a meeting with an outfitter at his camp.

Wind... in WY... novel thought :) I'm thinking about a sail mod for when I'm heading east. Figure my MPGs will drive everyone insanely jealous. :D

This is what Lynn told me in a PM about the camping:

camping available here in [Laramie] for $15. 00 per day with no hook up at the Territorial Park. They have a dump station and fresh water available. There is also a KOA north by the truck stops. I called them last night and ask for there rates. $24. 00 to $26. 00 a night with full hook up. KOA told me that weekend is CFDays so anyone with a camper should call ahead for reservations as soon as possible if they are interested. The Territorial Park is paved parking.

Hey Lynn, you didn't mention camping at the Wally Mart parking lot! :D

Lynn will post the phone numbers to these campgrounds shortly so everyone can make their own plans.

Directions to Lynn's place will be PM'd to those who are planning to attend. ;)

I thought I remember Lynn mentioning he was going to give a presentation on the X-Monitor and how it works as well.

:p :D

RV Camping

Okay Guys & Gals. Here is the phone numbers for the rv camp sites here in Laramie.

KOA: 307-742-6553

Wyoming Territorial Park: 307-745-6161

And of course like Tim mentioned, there is always the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Did Tim mention an X-Monitor presentation?

I'll be there - anyone will be able to check out the T-Rex system. (the whole truck may be forsale by then... )

I will still be here in Italy!! Crap! So while you guys are enjoying the BBQ, I'll be eating pasta.

If you guys miss me that much, we can get together again when I get back in September

Geis!!! How's the truck been doing since you got it back?

I'd love to come up to Laramie for a get together but I got some dumb wedding I'm in... at least its not mine :D ... yet

Maybe next time.

Steve-O,

Truck is running (knock on wood) but I'm missing the 65 or so extra HP the wire tap gave me. All well. I was so upset I thought about selling it all and getting a F-150:eek:

No worries, I'm over that.

too bad you won't make it, we should have a good bs session.

I hope that a certain former TDR member that is known to be fairly unique hears about this and blesses us with his presence!

Raw oysters anyone?

TPCdrafting knows, Ask him

Hey Tim will it be OK if I tie my goats in your back yard this year?

Wish I could make the trip this year but it is not looking good.

Tim

Timmah! We'd love to have ya again. You and yer goats would be fine. We'll try and keep Whitmore and his velcro zippered pants away from 'em this time around. Speakin' of Kev, well we passed through ****shoni this last weekend. Found the only house in town that had a silver CTD with 19. 5 Rickson's and 9 1/2 feet tall stacks. Went and banged on the door and 'ol Whitmore opened up. Sittin inside by the air-con. He said he might make it down for the bbq, said he wouldn't know for a coupla weeks. I'll keep workin' him over.
