XBOX Live

Just wondering how many members on the TDR has the XBOX Live. I usually set here myself on the net watching my son play and also get pretty entertained listening to him talking to other people and getting into the game. He plays Halo 2 the most and seems to like the military type games the best. He usually will not let me play online because I'm not that good at it and he doesn't want me to lower his online ratings. :-laf :{

I played Halo 2 for a while with my son when it first came out but there started to be more and more... what seemed to be not much more than 10-13 year olds... . talkng like they were just released from prison. :--) Obviously no supervision while on-line for some of these kids were apparent and so X-Box live has been turned off in my house.

Yeah! DJ there are some potty mouths at times on there, I've seen my son quit in the middle of a game because of the cussing. He's got a list of friends he usually brings up that he plays with mostly, and they seem to have a good time watching each others back.



It's ashame a few rotten eggs can spoil it for the majority thats good.

I play on a program called XBox Connect. It is like XBox live, except it's free, and 100% legal. I play only Halo 2, kind of kills some free time I have, or time I would spend watching the junk they have on TV these days.



I think it is a lot better then Live, partly becasue it's free, you can not get banned for any reason, and you control the type of game you want a whole lot more. If you enter the "system link" menu from the main menu, then you can see what I'm talking about. What the program does is uses the "system link" option, and sends it out over it's own network, so that you can find anyone who is hosting a game.
