Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Xfer 241 DLD rear seal?

I need to change the rear seal on my NP241 NAPA had a booted seal but the seal diam. was too large for my drive shaft, mine is 1 7/8" on line I've found rear seals that look like the type used for wheel bearing grease seals that have no boot. Can I use them? Where can I get the booted one for my truck?
