Here's a pic of my switch mounted in the cigarette lighter position. The lettering was done by westcoaststickers.com  The last pic is a view of my led.

That is a very nice looking install, much better use of space than a cig. lighter.

what is the switch on the left side, neat idea on the locate of the module where you can see the LED. . best look I have seen on the install of this.

great Job! thanks for sharing, I like it ALOT... Hokey

Great place to see the LED. I just installed mine and I wanted to mount the switch in the Cig hole also. Can you give some added info on this?

Thanks

Cigarette Switch Mount Secret

Alright here's the secret!

To get the washer and switch black I used a can of $. 99 flat black spray paint. Any discoloration in the pic is from all the pollen/dust that has settled on it and then me touching it.

The washer is 1. 75 inches outer diameter with whatever size hole Quadzilla's instructions called for, I just took the switch with me and found one in my junk drawer that would fit so I don't know the exact size of the inner hole. Seen them at Wally world in the isle with the lights or in that area that looked the same.

The switch centered itself in the hole with the outer edge of the heat shrink holding it in place. This worked out extremely well and I didn't have to make any holes in the dash. :-laf

The module with the led is just tie wrapped to a wire bundle underneath the dash where I could see it. Sounds easy, well this was the hardest part trying to get that sucker positioned and the tie wrap on it underneath there. I am now a trained contortionist.

Well that's it, cheap and easy, about $3 and 30 minutes.

Glad you liked the installation, without the lettering on the switch you really can't even tell its there. :p

yes the black knob is definately a must. You see we bombers are an understating bunch of guys. ;) The big fat twins and 30" polished exhaust tips, well they are really only there for performance. :-laf On a serious note the install looks great wish I had installed my banks switch in the same spot instead of the other side of the column. And quad once I get my new transmission Im going after that race box everyone is gushing over, also thanks for being one of the only manufactures that regularly posts on these threads, very smart on your part, it definately helps sell your product.

How about installing the led light in the center of the knob, that way it's more noticable when it's in the on mode.
