Hey Peeps! - Breaking News -



The Extreme Rock Racing Association is coming to Colorado Springs! Come out and see the hard core rock crawlers battle it out on a professional course, right here in our own backyard!



10 Sep, out at American and Import Auto Recycling, on HW-94 East of Peterson AFB and before Schriever AFB. These are THE hard-core off roaders and severe-duty rock buggies jaming on the obstacle course!



There is a party on the 9th at around 5 pm to kick off the event - Music, beer, fun and frolic. Military discount available.



More details to come, but I'm definitely going to this one.

Oh, and there will be a big honkin' party at my house that night (Sep 10th) - it's my B-day weekend so I'm celebratin' in style! Food/drinks provided!

Okay - more details including prices and times:



Friday night: Fun begins at 5 pm. 5 live bands, adult beverages, and a bunch of hard-core off-roading lunatics all having a good time. :-laf



Saturday: Event starts at 10 am. Tickets can be bought the night prior at the kick off party.



Saturday night: Party at my house Oo. . Fun and simple, probably several pizza pies and wet/dry beverages. 6-pak donations appreciated. Lots of parking. Basically a goof-off B. S. session. My house is about 15 minutes from the race course. Want to come over, drop me a line and I'll beam directions.



Here's how best to pay:

- Friday night:

-- Price per car is $10

-- Price to enjoy the evening (music and drink) is $10/person (money goes to the bands)

-- Price for Saturday tickets is $10/person

- If you come Friday they would prefer you prepay for Saturday tickets at that time. If not, then pay Sat am. Military discount tentatively available.



BONUS OFFER: If you want to come down Friday night, party a bit, and crash at my place you are welcome. I have plenty of rooms and parking - first come first serve on lodging.

wow....just wow.....

One word - AWESOME. Pics come no where near doing justice to racing like this. I have mini movies but I can't figure how to load them - too big I guess.



Every serious 4-wheeler should watch this kind of crawling - totally redefined the way I thought about the term 'four wheel drive', and blew the boundaries wide open of what a rig can do with the right engineering. Have a look -
