Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Ok, Y2K 4x4 front wheel bearing is a dealer only item?
I've called several local auto parts supply houses and nobody can get the bearing for the y2k 5200# axle. I've searched threads where it seems people have found these units at NAPA, etc but it is unclear that they had the 5200# axle of the Dana 2000-2002 vintage. Every parts place has the '99 4850# units. Have I missed something? These things are $300. yikes!
I'll probably take the old one apart and try to find replacement timkens, maybe, but i need my wheels so i can't have the truck down while i investigate other options.
