AVs in 4?

Jim Jeffers is SCUM!!!!!!!!!!

I spent the weekend at Florence Or, and I am now wanting a new Banshee. My Scrambler will beat Blasters, and Warriors and almost tie 400EX's up Comp Hill, but now I want to smoke the Raptors and DS 650's. Any ideas on what to set up a Banshee with to make it more of a rip snorting screamer?

Banshee's are expensive to BOMB. Two of everything. At least 1K just to get started. I have friends that have 10-15K in upgrades that run at the dunes. They have over 100HP! I think stock is around 40HP.

I know it will be expensive, but for the money that a Cannondale FX400 costs, I could build a Banshee that will feed it it's dinner.
A FX400 (read 432) is only 3 mph faster than a Raptor, and since it has EFI it will be even harder to modify to pull the dunes. I have ridden a piped Raptor and I was not impressed. For the dunes, I will stay with the Banshee.
so the Question is... ... Toomies, or Paul turner pipes.

A couple of years ago I saw a Banshee with a 750cc billet cylinder running alcohol. It was polished everywhere. I got beat up the hill on my CR500, but not by much. Buy a 2-wheeler and save tons-o-money!

I have two Banshee;s that I should sell I just don;t find the time to ride. I have lots of extra parts plus they both have go fast parts on them.

Hello there Cdaledh. guess this is your lucky day. I own Miller Racing Engines in snohomish Wash. [not in the book]. I build national champion motors. e-mail me at hdm48@juno.com and let me know how much you want to spend and how much you can do yourself and i will let you know what works and what is a waste of money. I'm not trying to make a sale here, just trying to help out a fellow member. advise is free [or should be]
