95 sburban conversion...transmission?

I am not sure if this is the place to post this but is a diesel conversion and "custom build".

I am in the process of building two diesel pressure washers (one for work, one for me), a diesel garden tiller and a diesel firewood splitter, all using the Yanmar L70 engine, which I bought four of recently. Three of the four engines are new and were each mounted to a 2" trash pump. They have a shaft machined to 1" SAE and they are recoil start.

I am getting the parts to build the pressure washers from Northern Tool and mounting them in the "roll cage" that the trash pump came in. I am hoping to buy a 35 ton firewood splitter, less engine from Tractor Supply Co. and install the Yanmar on it. I have a MTD Yard Machines rear tine tiller that needs a little work but was given to me. It has a bad gas engine on it and the Yanmar will go right on it with minimal modification. After these, my next project will be to install an old Kubota 600 cc inline 2 cylinder liquid cooled engine into a golf cart if I can find one with a bad gas engine. Other engines I have for future projects are 1995 5. 9 Cummins 190 horse from a spotter truck. It needs rings and a mild overhaul. I want to trade it for a 3. 9 Cummins.

I have a Acme single cylinder air cooled engine from a BCS tiller that I would like to eventually use instead of the MTD/Yanmar tiller.

If I knew how to post pics from my cell phone, I would do so as the projects come together. Pressure washers should be complete this week. I should know about the firewood splitter later in the week and am slowly working on the garden tiller.

I have a 2. 0 megapixel cell phone that takes pretty good pictures and I could borrow my mother's digital camera if I could figure out how to get the picture from the camera to this website! Just about every time I have tried to post a picture, it says it is "too large" and I do not have a clue how to make them be accepted on the TDR. These will be some awesome projects. I am really liiking forward to all of them and will take pictures as I go along.

These engines are the single cylinder, air cooled horizontal shaft. I do not know that they could be turboed but they do have a "power screw" which is easy to "misadjust". :D

Are you sure that thing has not been tinkered with? Bit noisy with that straight pipe isn't it? I hope my pressure washer pumps will be in tomorrow and I can get two of these engines put to work.

No pics of it yet, but I set up my pressure washer last night. This thing is awesome! It is the cleanest running small engine (diesel or gas) I have ever seen! Strong runner too. I hooked it to a Northern Tools 4 gallon per minute, 4000 psi pressure washer pump. The engine is a Yanmar L70 with a catalytic exhaust. I pick up my 35 ton firewood splitter from Tractor Supply Co. hopefully tonight. I ordered it, less the gasoline engine and am going to put another L70 Yanmar on it. Pics to come when I can figure out how to post them from my camera phone.

another image of wood splitter with Yanmar conversion. I picked this up this evening from Tractor Supply Company. The TSC employee is a fellow TDR member! :D

(chime in so we know who you are!)

Robin 3300 watt diesel generator. I bought this from a customer. It was originally used to run the flashing arrow sign on a road construction zone. Fuel tank had never been filled with fuel. Generator output is adjustable by engine rpm and has a gauge. It will also charge 12 volt batteries.

The Yanmar L70 engine, as I bought it (were three just like this)

It was attached to a 2" water/trash pump inside a roll cage. It is equipped with a catalytic exhaust.

My 1999 Polaris Sportsman ATV with Fuji 455cc liquid cooled diesel engine (same Japanese company makes this engine as the Robin generator)

I may mount the other engine, which is still mounted to the trash pump, to a MTD Yard Machines rear tine garden tiller. I am trying to talk myself out of it because I have an air compressor I would rather use it on and the trash pump itself would be handy... .

I have a 600 cc Kubota engine which will soon be placed in a E-Z-Go Workhorse golf cart with utility bed and a Acme 8 horse engine from a BCS tiller which I hope to put on a BCS tiller if I can find one. This would eliminate the other tiller project and I could keep the third Yanmar engine as a water pump or use it on the compressor (which I also already have. )

Anyway, I promised yall updates on my repower/conversion projects... threw in the 4 wheeler and generator pics because they are rare animals...

Gonna put the wood splitter to use tomorrow!
