Here's the number: 770-886-8877. Normally Robin would have gotten right back to you but her grandfather is dying and she's been spending most of her time at the hospital. If you call that number I'm sure someone else can help you.

I joined last September, just in time to get Issue 38, and I just got a renewal notice last week, too. I've only received two issues, and the notice says the next issue will be my last :(

I don't mind a little early notification, but they could at least say I only have *two* issues remaining.

Assistance

Jim, let me try to help out here:

- Your last renewal was processed on 08/12/02.

- Your member number starts with 37. The 37 tells us that you prepaid for issues 37, 38, 39 and 40. Issue 39 mailed in February, 2003. Issue 40 will mail in May, 2003. You'll want to renew in the July, 2003 timeframe. But if you renew in August, you'll still receive Issue 41. It may just arrive a little later than it would have.

NOTE: The renewal cards can be a bit confusing and the timing isn't always perfect. I apologize. But it looks like all is well with your renewal. Note, when you renew, the first two digits of your member number will change to 41 (again documenting that you prepaid for issues 41, 42, 43 and 44).

NOTE: Please note that you can contact either Tina Bean (e3e34@aol.com) or me (rpatton@ix.netcom.com) if you can't reach us via telephone.

Now, let's try to help out Mark Gonske:

You last renewed on 09/23/02. Your member number also starts with 37, so you prepaid for issues 37, 38, 39 and 40. Issue 39 mailed in February, 2003. Issue 40 will mail in May, 2003. You would also want to renew in the July, 2003 timeframe.

BUT, your post indicated that you DID NOT receive issue 37 - is that correct? If so, I'll adjust your member number to begin with 38. That will adjust your renewal date to September, 2003.

Please advise - did you fail to receive Issue 37? I'm sure we can get any errors corrected pronto.

Robin,

Thanks for the response, and the explanation. Now that you've explained it, I'll have to go back and look--it may be that 37 came with my initial registration package, and 38 was the first regular mailing I received (which would explain why I remember 38 being the first one I received). Assume that's the case unless I call back.

Thanks again for the quick response!

Mark

Robin, I got you message also, you explained it just fine! The renewal will go out with the issue tell the person that the next one is the last..... a huge heads up. Thanks for you timely attention to clearing my foggy head up. Hope all is better with you and yours!

(God Bless) Jim

Just Checking

I've been out a lot lately, and I probably will be out even more over the next 2 - 4 days. My grandfather is dying, and I'm trying to spend as much time with him as possible.

But, I'm keeping an eye on this thread when I can. Let me know if anything needs to be corrected/mailed.

Thanks!

Robin

Longer subscriptions

As we get older the time slips by quickly and it sems that our renewal notices come only a couple months apart. How about a longer subscription with a little discount, like 3 years for $90, 4 for $115, 5 for $135. I'll take a long shot that the TDR will be around for a long while. :D
