okay ladies and gents. i been on here a couple times but due to being deployed and internet not that good i was trying to search the forum for a correct area to ask this but apperently this question might stretched from 2nd gen 24v all the way up. first off thanks for the past answers and replys from everyone internet is slow and website doesnt fully come up so i can pick out exactly who thank me but you know who you are. but in about month or two ill be hopefully having the keys to a new to me truck and be trucking from virginia to washington state. this question isnt so much regarding to buiding a high hp engine but im really just confuse and feel like everywhere else i look i get false information. this website never steered me wrong so im sold on just staying here. i tried registering for the buyers guide i think it was or it was something that was to me a bible of knowledge on everything for dodge/ram and cummins but internet was to slow for me to even figure out if i had to register for something to look at it or what so my answer might be in there but this topic is bugging me. did cummins introduced only certian years of pressed in valves then switches back to inconel? or did they start putting in pressed in valves in 01/02 2nd gen i believe and keep it going? i read yes and no that the late HO 2nd gen 24v used them and through 03/04 cr then mid year 04.5 they went back to inconel valve. so if somone could please just verify that info that would be much appreciated. thank you all and god bless!
