Met my first real life TDR member today.
I really thought you guys were a bunch of bespectaled Walter Middys with pocket protectors, pounding away at the key boards with alter ego dreams of Motor Head City.
Oh yeah, with a few good ol' boys sprinkled in for good measure. :-laf
Paul Knapp drove up from Pinedale and we met at Hoback Junction. I helped him out by taking a used BD ebrake off his hands for a princely sum, and thus, improved the safety of his premises with less clutter. Won't work with his PDR HX40
(green envy). He's got one of those moded-out 12vs that I can only aspire to - a piece at a time.
We spent probably an hour swapping CTD tales in the snow-slash-rain with a little wind (it's WY - of course there was wind). Paul had to be one of those guys who stands around in the inclement elements wearing only a hooded sweat shirt, warm as toast (hood not up). Whilst I wear a vest, Carhardtt jacket, and winter hat - chatter, chatter. This dog either needs more meat on his bones or has to keep moving.
Dang, it was a pleasure to meet him! WY hospitality
