Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Yikes!! I need a wastegate actuator!!!

Hey Gang. Is there anyone in Southern California (Antelope Valley, but I will drive to get one) with a wastegate actuator that they would like to sell. My diaphram blew out and none of the dealers have one and cannot get one for over 2 weeks! I need some help on this one. I think I can pinch off the wastegate vacuum line while I wait for one, but I have a feeling I may get high egts and with no gauges that kinda scares me. As always, thanks for the help.

A Banks installer in your area or even Banks headquarters in Azusa should have one that was removed along with the housing when upgrading to one of their housings and wastegates. Should be cheap also.

Check with HVAC. He has an adjustable wastgate controller that he brought to a meeting that looked pretty good. PM him and he will probably bet right back to you.

I've used this place for over 20 years, it's a drive but they should be able to help also. I replaced one for a friend about three months ago and he called them and they sent it to the house!
