A couple of questions.

1st are cheeze heads alowed

And second what if my trail rig doesn't have a diesel in, just a lowly 440 ;) It would be pulled up there with a diesel of course... .

Don't count me in. Starting a new job in a couple weeks, so I'm not sure if I can work it out. Won't know 'til I start and can discuss it with the new boss. :(

Sure be that way, I would have to go for sure it you were showing up, being I am way closer then you. I don't know either, just thinking out loud now.

Bring it on up Mopar_Mudder, it will be nice having a classic piece of Mopar iron around. We may have one other local gasser here also. I invited my friend Dameon who found this rec area for me and helped me doing the pre-running last year. He's running an 80's Chevy with a blown 454 that he took two years to build from the frame up. He's looking forward to comparing it to our diesels.

Fitz, hope you can make arrangements with the new boss to be here. Good luch with the new job.

Of course the cheese heads are welcome, even if they are Packer fans. This was originally thought up to be a mixer for the Michigan and Wisconsin members.

Only 32 days to go.

Later,

Paul

Ya that was back in 97 I believe. The old truck is not as pretty as it use to be, had a brand new paint job then, but still looks pretty respecable for having 6 years of wheeling on it.

What are the plans for the week end. Is it just a Saterday-Sunday thing or are people showing up before that?

It is possible that I could bring 2 trucks up, my 83 1 Ton and I have a 76 Ramcharger also if I can get someone to come with me that want to wheel it. The best way to bring spare parts is to bring a spare tuck any way

I asume that I would have to reserve a camp site ahead of time. What sites is everyone in or should I get to be close to the group. Also if I bring 2 rigs is their room to park my Dually and 40' trailer with out being too big of a pain?

Pictures of the 83, don't have any of the Ramcharger now that I think of it.

I will be driving up after work on Friday. If all goes well I should be pulling into the campground by 7pm. I'm not sure about the other guys.

The more the merrier. Its been a long time since I've laid eyes on a properly done Ramcharger.

If you refer to this link of the campground flyer, https://www.turbodieselregister.com/user_gallery/displayimage.php?&photoid=5991&width=4 , there is a single sight off of the end that 10&11 are on that isn't listed. You could use it as a pull-through and park yoou Ramcharger in front of the dually. I parked in this spot last year because the wife was 8 months pregnant and needed to be close top the pit area. Its a fairly small campground. If I remember right the fire pit is between sites 5&6. I plan on being in one of the 30A sites close to this. Bill, Doc and Dennis parked up in this area last year. This reminds me, I should call and make my reservations at the campground. Wouldn't work too well if the meat supply ends up at the overflow site. [/QUOTE]

Well I am off to see if I can get a new starter and make brakes in the Ramcharger this week end. Had the 83 1 ton out lasat week end and the transmission was overheating and spitting fluid out of everywhere for some reason also. Why is it when you get a plan for something everything falls apart on you. Based on what I can get done this week end will probably decide if I go or not.

Well I am still working on brakes, I have them good enough that I can run it and feel it is safe now any way. Got a new starter it is also, what a pain, if you ever changed a starter on a big block mopar with headers you know what I mean.

So it looks like I should be in for the ride, will have to call and see it I can get a camping spot or two now... ...

This time of year it will pretty much just be our group at the campground so we should have plenty of room. As for lot size they are fairly big. Even that monster that Bill pulls :D had plenty of room around it.

Those of you that are planning on running the trails don't forget about your trail stickers. Those coming in from out of state can get them anywhere that Michigan hunting liscenses are sold.

See ya all in two weeks.

Paul
