I have read many post about people putting together their own turbos using the stock turbo. I currently have a turbo from ATS on my truck (aurora). No complaints about the turbo; I can run the BDDL on extreme and barley reach 1150* pre-turbo, but my problem is when I put on my TST I can not use the full box. The ATS turbo is a bolt on turbo and I was wondering if anybody is selling or making piping (and instructions :-laf ) to use my stock turbo and the ATS turbo for twins. I don't know a whole lot about the twins setup, so feel free to take my thinking down a peg or two. I know that I would have to stud the head and o-ring it, but I don't know how to do that either. I am still in college so don't have a lot of mon' for a new set of turbos, but still want to have the fun. I would appreciate any advice you could give me.

I dont think that the ats turbo flows near enough air to use as the primary turbo in a set of twins. it would work great as the secondary with a b2 hanging underneath, or ht3b.

mark kendrick can help you with the set using that turbo.

Thanks for the information. It doesn't look like I will be affording twins for now :{ , but I will need to get studs and o-rings before I get twins, so if anybody could give me a recomendation for those, I would appreciate it. What is the difficulty level of putting those in?

Studs would not be very difficult if you were going to use existing gasket. Some people are now running twins successfully with stock head gasket and studs up to around 55psi. If you want to O ring you are going to have to pull the head and probably send it somewhere to be O ringed unless you are lucky enough to have a local shop that can do it.
