Here's the second vote for TORQ CB corrosion blasting penitrating oil from kimball-midwest. Untill trying this stuff i called all spray lubes "horse ****" and would go for the torch before using any of them. This stuff actuaaly does work, if sprayed on rust it will fizz and bubble as it brakes up the corrosion and gets into the joint. Its expensive and probably deadly, but it does work very well for freeing heat sensitive parts or in places its tough to get a torch into without burning somthing. Steve D

Kroil is what we use on gas and steam turbines especially steam turbines because of the heat causes the fits and bolting to scale up with blue blush or on interference fits make them event tighter. I used it on my front wheel bearings getting them out of the fit when I changed the front rotors on the 99 2500 I had.

KY. Oh, wait; that's not oil. :D

My uncle always pours a little #2 oil on any bolt he needs to loosen on his farm. It's worked for him for 40-50 years.

PB is great. ...

Where're the Chat Freaks when you need them? They'd give 'PB' a *whole* different meaning (something to do with a non-com and what he wanted to do to his superior... ).

Yes, this is an intentional attempt to hijack this thread and get it moved to 'Other'. :D :D
