I've go one of those "spacer" leveling devices on my 01 2500. I've got 31's on 10" rims on it and still get some slight rubbing when turning.

I'm going to put on a buck stop bumper and I want to change to an after market spring replacement leveling kit (KORE or someone else) because the bumper is somewhat heavier than stock.

So I'm calling on your experiences/opinions on what you have and how you like it. Has it done what you wanted? I'm not a serious off roader and I'm more interested in ride and handling quality.

Hit me back and let me know.

I think your rubbing issue might be the 10" wide rim's! I have 2" leveling spacer's w/ 33" tire's and no rub. My rim's are 17"x8 wide. I added a thuren track bar and I think it rides like stock! Good luck.

I'm running a 2" spacer style leveling kit on my '01. The spacers seem fine to me, but I would only run the steel spacers, not the polyurethane ones. I have 315/75R16 ProComps on stock 16x7 wheels. I don't wheel the truck hard off road, but my only rubbing even when pretty well flexed is when I turn sharp and the tire rubs the lower control arm. This rubbing isn't really affected by lift height as much as it is wheel offset. If I had some 1/4 inch spacers, it probably wouldn't rub anymore.

Leveling the truck sure does make it look better, but if you use spacers, that all it does, look better. The performance suspension make it work better, ie, more travel with better springs. A leveled truck will need bigger tires, which can decrease mileage.

315s on the 06, no rub. 295s on the 01, some rub (right side only) both stock wheels.

I've never driven any thing other than KORE, but from what I gather here and else where, KORE's springs are the stiffest. Their VR coils are very nice, but ramps up the rate quickly and fairly high. The other 2 vendors appear to have a more plush ride for every day use. I believe all 3 use the same shocks for the leveling kit. They are all good, but KORE maybe the only one with VR type coil for the 2nd gen. ???

On My 1999 2500 I Put 315/75r16 On It With Out Any Leveling Kit This Time All I Had To Do Was To Adj The Set Screws In The Front Axel To Limit The Tire Turing Radius. But After I Did That I Did Not Notice Any Diffrence In The Radious It Could Turn. My Opioin Is That Leveling Kits Are Not Needed To Get That Big Tire Look

I like em. You might also consider Carrier Springs. They will make new springs for you to get that lift and you tell your putting a HD bumper on it. They can then readjust how they make so that with the springs and bumper the front end won't sag.

While the leveling kit looks good with the truck empty, keep in mind that if you tow (or camper), when the hitch weight goes on the truck will look overloaded.

Although the truck is not overloaded, the headlight alignment is way out and with the nose high or overloaded look it will draw attention from the law/motorvehicle inspectors more so.

Just my observations of several friend's trucks with levelling kits.

YEAH very true about the headlight issue!!! Great for you but others will hate you. I have to keep 15lbs in my air bags to keep it level.

And one more thing that i did notice when i did the 2in spacer on my 99, is that it did promote death wobble more often. :{
