Your opinions/advice on Banks Ottomind 6

I own a 2005 QC SB 4x4 auto and I am thinking of getting this. This might sound strange but I have no need for more power, but I do love the PDA option that one can get with the Ottomind 6 because of all the extra parameters that one can monitor on one's truck. Its great... ..... EGT, trans temp, trans slip, boost... etc, etc. I think it is very useful to know how hard one's truck is working, plus it's just fun to see what is going on in different driving scenarios. I am also planning on getting the Banks Brake for the 05 48RE when it becomes available in Jan of next year. My questions are these-If I do not use any of the potential power i. e. keep the Ottomind on powerlevel 1, is there any chance of hurting the truck? Next will it void the warranty. Next, where do you guys mount yours... ... ... to include the brake activation switches (pics please). And finally how satisfied are you with the product... . to include the PDA and the brake if you have one. Any and all advice is much appreciated... ... ... thanks and happy Thanksgiving.

I'm new here so I can't really help much with your question. I'm betting you're going to here about many other options besides Banks though.



I will tell you my experience with Banks was very poor! :-{} Their customer services has a LOT to be desired. I got the feeling from them that once you bought it... . you're on your own. Not the kind of company I care to deal with, especially with electronics.
