Towing weight

What does DDUFM stand for?

nother new guy here from sw washington state.

i picked this 96 3/4 ton dodge ram ctd club cab long box, manual 5 speed to tow my jeep on a trailer. the truck is outfitted with the camper and towing package and also has air bag overloads. it is rhino lined and k&n'd. thats it for mods right now. it only has a bit over 60k on it and the transmission has been re-nutted and updated, it had been well maintained by my neighbor who was the original owner.

a friend pointed me to this site and i was pleasantly suprised to see huge amounts of tech. i didnt buy the rig to modify but now it looks like i will anyways. there seems to be alot to do now. all i have to do is figure out where to start.

Hey, welcome to the TDR Tim,

There is a tremendous amount of info here. If you can't find it on the search feature, someone will know. Take the time to fill out your truck sig.

slt laramie is to dodge as xlt lariet is to ford its the trim levels on the dodge trucks slt super luxurios trim laramie is a few other extras idk what exatly havent driven enough dodges to notice the slight difference tho i would guess its stuff like leather seats instead of cloth or a better radio but i don't really know

Tim,

Welcome from Portland. Not all that live here are city slickers... .

Sounds like you made a great choice. A whole new world is opening up before you. I'm not a hot-rodder, but I'm on my way to B. C. to have DTT rebuild my transmission! Oo. Couldn't be much happier than I am.

Best wishes,

Hvy
