This Z max additves seems to be poping up everywhere and I have never heard of it until about two months ago and the first place that I saw it was on the speed channel,now it's at the local auto parts store. Have you guys every heard of this stuff or is BS.

I still think the stuff is snake oil. That little block they always show it soaking into looks like powder metal. Any liquid will soak into powder metal (provided it isn't one of those specialty ones that is sinterted to nearly full density).

Interesting. I wouldn't use the stuff anyway. That lawsuit is back in 2001, then in 2003 they settled out of court and the FTC apparently agreed their claims are valid. *shrug*

I don't buy any of those oil additives, buy a quality oil and it will have everything you need for protecting your engine.
