Zerk locations

Is there a map or lay out of all the grease fittings for the first generations. 2x4 & 4x4 I'd hate to miss one. Shop manuel is no help.

Until someone can produce one, i'll try to work off memory... Kingpins, and maybe u-joints (depends on if they're aftermarket or not). I pulled the drive shafts and gave them a good lube. Not sure what else.

IIRC, my '92 W had zerks on all moving parts. Drag, ties, kings, front slip joint, front u joint @ diff. Not the cardan. I don't remember the rear shaft. I had an '81 D and it had all the usual points as well.

If you have a manual trans there is a grease fitting on the VSS - not sure about autos.
