I couldn't find 7 recalls. I emailed him. :-laf I'll pass the answer if I get one.

I think it's very similar to TV news-- If the story doesn't grab you, twist it untill it does. I've quit watching the news because they've crossed the line into the entertainment industry.

I have an 06 and haven't received any recalls. Could it be for the gassers? The transmission problem he mentioned was probably to get the beeper installed.

The video also had a tag line saying Durango, Dakota, Ram while he was talking. Kind of all over the place. SUV's, small trucks, full size.

I think 5 of the 7 recalls involve the Durango and Ram 1500. I have heard the 5 speed auto had some issues. They did not say that it was model year specific. I know if 2 recalls on the 3rd gen.



1. The back up horn, your truck may still be in gear... recall

2. The tank vent tube recall



Their little "editorial" was deceiving since all he mentioned was the Dodge Ram, and in the picture was a 3500 Megacab. If you split the models that were included , Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, Durango, the numbers would not have been mentioned.

Sorry to vent, but when that kid is on his 4th Honda Civic and I'm still driving my CTD's, lets talk recalls then! :-laf Nothing like lumping ALL dodge models together to justify your "statistics"! Whew I feel better!
