Demco - Glide Ride Recall?

NW Ct to SE Pa

Pulled my Day Dreamer to Charlotte and back today for the first time since dealer installed my 988-AAs (snow plow front springs). Believe it or not I can tell a large difference in the ride and handling with these heavier springs. :-laf

I did not measure it but it looks like and easy 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". I would say my truck sits level when I place the rv to it. I just disconnected it and the rear raises 2"s with no load.

OK! You are the 2nd person to say it actually raised the front of your truck. I like to get multiple opinions/facts before I jump "on board" so to speak.

Thank You! Jess

Does your truck hammer you to death on a rough road like on the inter state that is wash boardie mine does pretty bad I got bilstein 5100 shocks on it I thought it was the shocks so I took them off still does the same thing with the stock shocks I think I am going to put differant springs on it . can not handle this at all. Oo.

I hope you can tell from these before and after photos.

Cumminz, Thanks for the pics! I am going to take a shot here, the bottom pic with the chrome fender trim and exhaust tip must be the "after", honestly I cannot see any difference in height, if anything the top picture looks like the front may be higher, but I'm half blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

Besides all that, Nice Truck! Again thanks for the photos.

Oh, put that for sale sign in the bottom picture on the ford in the back ground!!!

I put a tape measure on the top of my front tire and measured 10. 5" to the bottom of the lip of the fender. This may help.

Both new & old springs are 18"s tall. Old springs are 3/4" steel. New springs are 15/16 or 1" the best I can measure.
